I have a 1998 xtra cab, 2.7, auto. I have Dick Cepek DC1 wheels. 15x8 with a 3.65 inch backspace. I know this is a popular question....but what is the biggest tires I can stuff under there...will 33's fit with or without spacers? or should I go with the 32's. My commute is in town, 3 miles a day, I don't care about power loss on the road. thanks in advance for your help!!!!

My 1998 TRD with no extra lift with 32 x 11.5 R 15 LT on factory rims rub just a little with the wheel turned hard left and going over an incline. The speedometer is about 1 mph to fast also.

Nice, I am leaning toward the 32's, I know they will fit, and the 33's are special order, so no returns.....they 32's look great as I see now! Thanks for your help.

I am glad that I could help. I got the truck about 2 months ago for my son and when I got the truck I was asking questions just like you.

Keep in mind the OP stated he has wheels with 3.625" BS so 32s on 3.625" BS with stock lift may very likely rub on the pinch weld. Nothing a BFH (big f'n hammer) won't fix. :D

Zero4 might be right because I don't know what the backspacing is on my stock rims on my TRD is.

Yes, they were 32 x 11.5 r15 on factory rims with no spacers and no lift. It had a little rub sometimes turning hard left and going over an incline. Yours might be worse, if your suspension is sagging. The Tacoma only had like 19,000 miles when I purchased it.

I no longer have the Tacoma though. I have moved on to a Lexus LX 470 (Land Cruiser) and I love it!
