Nice Yeah last time I went after a bunch of rain and after walking it I called it since the water was chest height and moving good. Usually the next crossing is a little deeper

I am getting ready to put a Shell on my 15DCSB Sport and I had them instal factory roof tracks....I have to questions? 1. What rack does everyone recommend? and 2. If I was to get an RTT, is there any issues with fiberglass of shell supporting it? Thanks!

I got Yakima with my ARE cap. It was all part of the rail install price. Less than retail.
Personally, I do not trust the RTT on my fiberglass cap. Some have reinforced them. YMMV.

If you're unsure, cage it. I was hesitant to put 400-500# on my shell because it didn't have the reinforced roof. So I added a cage support and l-track, then mounted my tent. Now....stout AFimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

In these 2 pictures you can see where the bolts securing the l-track to the roof, come through the shell. L-track is aluminum and all the hardware securing it is stainless. The track has countersunk holes every 5" for mounting. Then unlimited attachment units for securing items to the track. This stuff is stout, the static, dynamic/working and breaking load numbers are unreal. image.jpgimage.jpg

I did. It's not perfect, but it serves its purpose well.

Nice pics. I'm hoping to plan a road trip to Utah/Colorado/Arizona next year. Looking to take 2-3 weeks. I know I can get 2 weeks off from work but will have to wheel and deal with the boss for the third week.

Wheel and deal your ass off. Just did a trip through Utah, NM, and AZ in May and then a trip to Ouray, Durango and Silverton in July. It is amazing country. Now I hate Texas
