I get this comment much more often than I anticipated, and I anticipated that nobody would say anything.

I seem to get this comment at least once a week. Yesterday, 3 different strangers told me either, "I like that truck!" or "Nice truck!".

I clean and wax my truck on a weekly basis. Is that why? Is it because I have BBP color? I plasti-dipped the rims (OR rims) and that really seems to go well with the BBP. Is that why?

I think a lot of people like the look of the 3rd gen. I wonder how long their interest lasts until they google a review or come to this site?

At least once a week, especially with all the little things added on.

    BBP is the best color.

I get that comment on occasion, a few months ago I had a flagman that was directing traffic in a construction zone wave me to pull over so he could check it out but I was in a hurry.

I never get that comment, just like how the lady at the liquor store never tells me my total. She knows I'll pay whatever the number is.

Every Friday, when I pick it up at the airport, I hear that very phrase...then I stop and remind myself not to tell my doc about the voices in my head.

I got it a couple weeks ago. They complemented the Truck, then the Inferno color.

Only once, from a kid who's dad drove a Tacoma.

I was actually expecting it more. Turns out a Tacoma is just a normal dad truck and you see them everywhere. Some rich dad's even just use them to haul off trash so they don't have to use their nice car.

I was expecting it more because it was new. I have an old 1990 F350 on 35's and girls wave and flirt in traffic. Some girls flash you and what not. Guys yell out Nice Truck! at lights and stuff. Figured a new truck would get even more attention. Apparently rusty old truck on larger tires is where you get the most attention.

A modded Tacoma would probably draw more attention around where I live. Not really looking for the attention right now. Rather leave the truck a reliable as possible until it get's paid down some.

I commute pretty far to work. Where I live it's all about cars. Where I work it's all about trucks. They all seems to have some kind of fetish with diesels though. There are a boat load of Tacomas. They don't stand out at all.

I sped past a cop yesterday. I think he would of pulled out but there was another black TRD access cab right behind me. Think he wasn't positive which truck he was looking for.

I got it a ton the first couple of weeks I owned it. While it had the 30 day tags on I think that prompted people to complement as they knew it was new to me and/or maybe they could see themselves buying one too and are more interested in it as a result.

After i got the plate on and tinted the windows it no longer looked like a new off the lot truck and I still notice people checking it out but they don't say anything now. I'm sure there's some psychology involved in this correlation.

A few times a week or more. Often when I stop for gas, or walk into or out of a store.

Maybe because people here in the city NEVER see lifted trucks. Maybe because everyone loves the Inferno color.

Also I wave/am waved at a few times a day. Fellow Tacoma owners mostly. I pass a guy with a TRD Pro in Cement almost every day.

I think lifted double cabs look great. I require the longer bed, but lifted double cabs really do look good. For some reason the double cab on regular tires looks out of proportion to me. As soon as you lift it it completely changes.

The best proportions is the AC version. I wish I didn't need the extra seats and space inside. The longer bed and looks of the AC would be sweet.
