wife has some kin folk up there, we are taken em some corn meal cuz they apparently cant get it up there and hanging out for a few days.

 

Me and my wife are both from up there and all of our family is up there. We go a couple times a year. I can honestly say i dont believe ive ever seen corn meal up there.

 

that blows my mind, how do they fry fish, okra, squash, tomatoes? this is primarily for making cornbread

 

Dont have okra, never even heard of okra before we came down here. Dont fry tomatoes, squash is pan fried or baked. And fish and chicken are fryed in flour and seasonings. The north cant cook for shit. But we have the best pizza up there. Im sorry but yall cant make a pizza for shit lol.

I mean we flour batter chicken but its hard to have good fried fish without atleast a 50% cornmeal batter. The only thing i put okra in is the trash can but everyone else seems to love it. And by pan fried squash im guessing u mean like a stir fry type deal right? And no fried green tomatoes? Why even bother going on with life?

 

I'm a Blue Moon fan for the most part, but I don't really make choices when its free.....

No we slice it up and fry it in butter. Zucchini to. I hate okra as well. Ive still yet to have a fried green tomato.
