I ordered some climate control bulbs and have 6 extra if anyone needs any.

 

Wondered around GR today. Found 4 water crossings north of the interstate. 3 i knew about. Two i had done on the bike before. All four have now been conquered by my truck. The deepest was maybe an inch or two above my rocker. I've seen that one about twice that deep before.

 

I think that's the one chip was afraid to cross LOL because he wasn't sure how deep it was

This spot is sooooo photogenic. Could see lining up a few trucks here for a killer mini shoot

 

So can you like.... camp anywhere?

 

Only in the actual camp sites...which some have less than others but all have at least a fire pit.

I think there are 110ish campsites to choose from

 

Hmm. Still, 3 hour drive, I think I'll stick to GWNF. Plus free

 

How many people do you run into when you are down there?

 

We ran into a group of overlanded-out compasses in the morning, and that was about it. Saw 2 ATVs later in the day, and again that was it.

 

Nothing super technical, maybe some parts comprable to green Rausch trails. But the views, and having the trail to ourselves, pretty awesome.

 

GR is the same way. On the weekends you might run into ten people if the weather is nice.

Week days, you can ride around all day and see no one. Or maybe 2-3 people/cars

 

There are probably a half dozen actual overlooks, everything else is this:

 

@AR15xAR10 they already scheduled the next Rallycross at that dirt track for September 10th. I won't be there for this one as I'm crewing for Pitchblack Motorsports at Black River Stages in New York, and won't be back until late in the day sunday. But you should still go and hang out and take more pictures, everyone loved the set you put up.

 

I'll try to be there. Hoping to get another lens in the mean time. It was fantastic practice and going over the shots, I can see some areas I can improve on. I'll let my buddy Chris know as well because I was trying to get him to borrow my helmet and go on a ride along lol

 

Just ordered that lens I spoke of, now i'm definitely going to that event @Gaunt596

 

Anyone going out to camp/off-road GWNF during labor day weekend? @fatfurious2 @EatSleepTacos

 

I have to work Sunday/Monday night, but I'd be free to camp Friday/Saturday night, if i just left first thing Sunday morning to get home in time.
