Where did you get your seats from - I'm looking at doing this eventually and live in the area so finding a good source would be nice. CL is always my friend as well. Looking good.

Offer up. Actually, I'll pm you the email address of another lead I had at the same time as I bought these seats.

Thanks for the update quetzal. Those do look quite tall and, with me being 6', I don't think that's going to work for me.

I heard the Scion TC seats were a bit shorter? I know others have installed Camry seats too.

The stock seats are okay for now and I'm in no hurry to change them.

Way back in the day we owned an '86 Chrysler Conquest TSI (Mitsubishi Starion ESR-I). The seats in that car were phenomenal. SUPER comfortable with infinite adjustments. Wouldn't mind finding a pair of those in decent shape.

I have tricks for removing the shifter handle if you need help. You just need a normal pair of pliers and a good angle and you can use them to rotate the locking collar. Hard to describe without a picture though because you don't grip the collar with the pliers, just use them to apply pressure.

Fixed my 12v outlet which also is on the same fuse as the clock and power mirrors. PO cut the wires for the 12v and left the ground exposed to it kept popping the fuse. A little bit of rewiring and cleaning up and everything works again! Whoever owned it before the guy I bought it off of did had a some thing going on with wiring. I found old sub wires and random splice clips all over the wiring...

5100s in the rear. I have an ARB bull bar in the front so when i do those im going to want something a little more heavy duty to support the weight while retaining stock height. Any recomendations? 20170821_172305.jpg

That would be great. I'm going to uninstall the short shifter to sell the transmission with a stock shifter. Plus I'd like to figure out what was happening to see if I can use the ss on my truck.

Rustoleum hammered finish rattle bombs. I read about people using it on trannies in a hot rodder forum. It had a weird moss / patina after I degreased it so it needed some freshening up.

Rust-Oleum stuff is good, I just use degresed and degrimed lazily, I'm just gonna trash it again. Had to make sure the surface was clean to mount of that tcase brace.

I'm in a roll this week. Finally had a 3rd gen taco muffler installed today. Picked up the muffler for 20 dollars from a guy on Craigslist it had only about 200 miles on it. Finally quiet Tacoma.

Went from flowmaster(monster truck status), then a generic muffler from the muffler shop for 40 dollars still loud not quiet enough....
