I think the manufacture of that front grill screen needs to go back to the drawing board on how to secure it to the grill. Those screws have to go. It would give it a cleaner look!

is there even a reason why the screenfront comes in three parts ? couldnt it just be one single part and atleast just have the screws around the perimeter of the screen ?

heh,i wasn't making fun of your truck, BTW,
i tend to see some kind of face in any vehicle! and the tacoma has a way of looking like a pug or bulldog or some other critter (beaver, with a tag in front) depending on the arrangement of accessories.

sorry, i'm a cartoonist, my mind is wierd.

Truck looks great. Cool tail lights! What brand? DOT approved? I'd like to get a set for mine.
The grill cover proabably looks better in person but I'd have to say that it would look better with a Grillcraft. JMO

I like the screws on the grill. Kind of gives it a "built tough" look.

    Tails are awesome!

Stock can look Cool....Take a Black truck in the shade or with dark colors behind it. Our brains can see light and dark at the same time, but the camera doesn't. 091607003.jpg1Large_2577dacacdc293bd7e413aa89a7bfbd16fbc057e.jpg

It's probably spray on tint. I doubt it's DOT legal. Most states probably have laws against it too but I think most people get away with it. For example, in California, it is illegal:
24600: (e) Taillamps shall be red in color and shall be plainly visible
from all distances within 500 feet to the rear except that taillamps
on vehicles manufactured after January 1, 1969, shall be plainly
visible from all distances within 1,000 feet to the rear.

One thing to be aware of is that anyone hitting you from behind might be able to claim they couldn't see your taillights because of the tint. You'd probably be deemed at-fault. Of course they'd have to think of that when they hit you.
