Rago fabrication. It's so easy that if you can't install these you shouldn't be driving.

    Thank me later.

In regards to Rago fab, how is the view from inside the cab? Seems like some say the CBI are closer to the A pillar where these being on the hood may possible obstruct the view? Or am I over thinking this?

Barely notice them when driving.theyre basically on the a-pillar. And yes I flipped the lights up, looking for a tiny dirt road off a main road at nite. Worked tits..

On the rago fabs, no trimming or hunting for hardware. Just uses your hood bolts. Took less than 10mins to install. And you get free candy..lol

I like them. I keep them on until (IF) I see another driver. My drive home is about 35 miles of dark country roads so I can use all the extra light I can get. I've been debating a front bumper so I'm undecided for now as to if I want to put a light bar in the front valance or not.

I've got a 20" I'm debating put in the balance. Might just buy a 32" to swap in there. Cheap on Amazon

How is the clearance when the hood is open? Would traditional/slim halogen lights fit?

They have plenty of room even with the hood open. That was one of my concerns before I purchased these. I'll share a picture tomorrow with the hood open so you can see. I originally wanted to go with CBI/Relentless ditch light brackets, but like @SouthernYoder mentioned above...these mounts are super easy to install and work great. Thanks again

20170725_173412.jpg not the best pic. But the lights won't hit. Also have other pics in thread. The brackets also make the hood pop up better when you pull the release in the cab.

Relentless Fab is an easier install, with no cutting, or fumbling.... Dually SideShooters are a great, bright light, but dont have a very long beam in flood pattern, but the side lighting is great.... 20170829_191131.jpg 20170829_191131.jpg

Nothing against other mounts, as this is my first set. Yet, the install on these was much more simplistic compared to other install vids for other mounts....
