I went paintballing for my bachelor party. Didn't want sweaty, STD infested, East St. Louis women touching me....

 

No place on the east side is any good. Do the Cards game and hit the landing.

 

Cabbies will take you there without issue from the city.

 

Getting there isn't a problem, it's an area that isn't very safe.

 

The clubs want money therefore thy protect their interests. Having a friend that used to be the security manager for most of the clubs on the east side I've learned from him to just stay in Sauget and don't do stupid shit.

 

Exactly. One of my good friends cousins was carjacked and shot in the head while still in his drivers seat right at the gas station in front of the clubs.

I will say as a stupid teenager i had been to pops a couple dozen times for concerts. Havent been back in years though.

 

Ive also had friends who have gone in the last year. Whichever one is the white club on the right side.
Said the strippers had pimples all over her ass. Haha

 

They aren't trickin' because they are excellent decision makers. Most have issues far beyond personal hygiene. I used to swing by his club for lunch - free steak - and thy would try their games on me. Tell them to fuck off and they say the usual "I'll have security kick your ass and throw you out" bullshit. Too stupid to realize that I'm sitting at the security directors table because they are all nickel slick hustlers. Everytime their lips move that are trying to get your money. Nothing more, nothing less.

My bachelor party was an elk hunting trip. Five of us in the mountains and memories that I have no problem sharing with my grandchildren when the time comes.

 

Hey guys and gals! I'm located about 50 minutes south of St Louis. I picked up my new Tacoma today, and I'm pretty damn happy with it. It came with most of the upgrades I wanted, and am waiting on skid plate, cat back exhaust, and performance air intake to come in, so I can get it installed.

I'm happy with it as it sits, I'm sure I'll do some modification and upgrades down the road. The only things I want to do right now, is get some nice seat covers, and I think I'm going to go ahead and have a decent speaker setup with amp put in. I didn't get the Tech Package, I would of liked to have the JBL, but I figured I could get a better setup for a lot less then the 3k.

I've never taken a vehicle to get a soundsytem put in, and was wondering if you guys have any suggestions of good, reputable places to go. I would prefer South STL and South of that. The finance guy at the Dealership today, told me about a place in Festus called Phine Designs, that he would highly recommend. Have any on you heard of them, or do you have some other places I could check?

Oh, and my brother lived right next to the Brewery in Soulard for 6-7 years, we used to go to Sauget all the time. Screw the Landing, hit up the Casinos and head to the East Side.

i would say either larry flynts or that hollywood place...haven't been to either just going off of what i hear. i have however been to the PTs down in brooklyn illinois....DO NOT GO! terrible, terrible area, and not a very clean place.

 

AD Designs is in Farmington if you're anywhere close. They specialize in accurate and quality sound reproduction.

Another one I've heard or and read about, is JML Audio in Fenton. They do top notch, award winning work, from what I've been reading. I wonder what the prices would be though, may be way over my budget.

 

I've heard they are awesome, but don't plan on spending less than a few grand there.

 

Yeah, that's kind of what I thought.

 

I actually thought the audio in our trucks was pretty good. Get a nice 10" subwoofer to put behind the rear seat and be done with it. Which intake did you get? I see a lot of those aFe intakes in the marketplace. Starting to wonder if they're not so good.

 

I got the dealer option, the TRD performance air intake.

The audio isn't bad, it's just not quite as great as I would like it.
