After isolating ALL pads using rags, if the noise continues to persist, then the noise is NOT
from the leaf spring pad. This Service Bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis using the
    applicable repair manual.

Knowing my luck with these TSBs, they'll hear something else and deny that this applies.

So much for the "it's normal, all vehicles do it, fix it yourself" bull shit. Glad Toyota stepped up to make this right. Now only about 10 other things to go!

The dealer just informed me of this, and was going to post the 'news.' Knew better:rofl:

They ordered them for me today

Can I get this done even if I don't have noise?

To clarify, my truck was already there for some things--squeak included.

But I would ask your dealer. This answer would likely vary

Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
    Thanks for posting!
I was actually in contact once again with my dealer about the bullshit squeak on a $38k truck. They were less then helpful, no less then a week ago!
CPS recall and this TSB are now scheduled for the 2nd of next month! Really hope this fixes the squeak as I'm embarrassed the the damn truck.

Anyone know if this applies to trucks with a rear lift? Like add a leaf or blocks? I could imagine the dealer denying this TSB due to altered suspensions...

You'd have to get a really accommodating dealership to apply this tsb to a modified rear setup.
