Nice! I'm pretty much deleting the back seats in my AC. Engel on one side, storage on the other. These look like they are two pieces and the break is just the width I need for behind the drivers seat. Interesting!

Yes, the seam where they connect is right at the edge of the drivers side bucket. The only concern using one side is how to trim out the rest of right under the window. That trim piece would need to be trimmed unless this engel thing starts at window and goes down. The storage bins use the top fastener holes that the trim piece uses when you have no bins. The bins use the top fasteners and then 2 bolts halfway down the wall.

Thanks for the feedback! Sounds like some jigsaw work to me. I'd have to hack the existing plastic back wall cover. No real biggie. We end up keeping the extra seat as an emergency thing. We'll see

OH yeah, you said AC so the panel up under window would be different than the RC one. I had 05 AC and remember how that met up with rear window but that'd be different than how the later ones do. Might match up way better than the reg cab trim piece does if trimming is in the works. You might could find someone who wants to trade their early model AC seats/panel for your newer style. Here's a pic of how the older trim meets window in AC............

Here is shot of RC trim panel below window.......

Do the pop in fasteners from the DC bins fit the regular cab mounting holes? I know the 2 bolts will line up from your pictures you show. Far as the bottom overlap, that's just protruding outward pass the carpet, but it seems to fit. I was more curious about the sides how much over lap there was and if trimming the bins would make it fit better with the corner trim. Can you also post a picture of the passenger side bin with the corner trim...you only show the driver side. Thanks!

Yes, the pop in fasteners from storage bins fit the same holes as trim piece perfectly. The corner trim is flush with back of cab and the edge of the bins is raised out from being flush against backwall so even if trimmed they wouldn't match up. You can't push back on them because of the way the bins are molded and the bolt hole cups stop the bins from going back any more. The corner trim in DC is different shape than RC. I'll try to get pics of what I mean and what you are asking about.

Trying this with an 05-08 access can and its looking like trimming of the boxes is required. They don't really meet up

Well the thing is, you can trim but I don't see how they will ever meet up without fabbing something...........

I would think buckets or bench is OK since they are behind a bench type rear seat in a double cab.

Not seeing why not. Might even work better as far as leg room with bench. Isn't there a bench seat in the back of double cabs?

If you could give me the measurements I could check behind my bench to see if it works

Look at all the pics in 1st post for reference....see how far they stick out from wall at floor level almost to where seat belt meets floor? See where your seat is in reference to the belt in yours........at least until I can actually measure.

I've got a set of these.. never put them in, it will take some hacking to make them work behind a bench

Other than the jack bracket, what would need hacking?
