Weather channel just updated that TS Harvey will make land as a Cat 3 Hurricane, hope everyone has their floatie's ready. Seriously I hope everyone stay's safe

I love people. Love how they see everyone trying to get gas. So after filling up. They leave thier csr/truck at the pump. Just to run in for a soda. Like you coulndt have done that while it was pumping? Or repark and run in? Love them

 

The only leak that thing can stop. Is the leak in his add Hope!

 

I say bring on the rain!!!!!! I've been prepared for weeks. I like seeing everybody scramble for supplies.

Efficiency isn't on the mind....

 

I was ready for my household...not for the additional 3-6 people that may end up there. I did however grab additional supplies at the beginning of the week and not today as people flip out. Only bad thing is my generator is at my mom's house and may have been damaged while it was stored in her garage. So that's not cool. I've got someone looking at it but may end up just rolling with the battery powered stuff.

 

Get that old gas out and clean the carb. Nothing to those generators

 

This will be interesting.

Man, it's like end of the world scenes at gas stations and grocery stores out there. Every gas station I've driven by has long lines to the street and the 2 stores I went to, had empty shelves and people constantly asking where the bottled water is.

Everyone should have prepped way ahead of time instead of waiting til the day before. Tsk tsk.

 

I haven't been watching the news lately, is there another mass exodus out of Houston like what happened with hurricane Rita? Or has everybody decided to stay?

 

Nah, no mass exodus this time since the hurricane will make landfall in corpus. Houston area is gonna just get tons of rain since it's gonna move in our direction and sit on top of us for a while

 

Fair enough. Now if you will excuse me I have write 10 percent off engine swap on a bunch of business cards. Expecting a few hydrolocked cars on the roads
