Will not buy another Tacoma in all likelyhood in my life.

I previously had all full-sized trucks and if one needs a truck, they need a full-size. The Tacoma just isn't very capable.

I love my Tacoma for day to day driving. Road trips suck because of the powertrain and seating position. It sucks as a work truck because it doesn't take much to outdo the payload.

I think every recent vehicle Toyota has put out is butt ass ugly, including the new Tacos. I won't buy a 3rd Gen because of that. So I likely will never buy another Toyota but who knows, over time the truck could get attractive again. But then they need to actually build a decent engine/trans combo.

I'll never buy a Tundra. They don't even make a double cab w/ a 6ft bed. Ford all the way for full-size.

I think the 2nd Gen is going to be the last good Tacoma Toyota ever made. So I'll hang onto mine until the frame rusts away lol.

If I had $85k to throw down I'd be getting a Ford F250 Diesel Limited LOL not a LC

This is my plan as well. Then once the frame rusts out, never a better excuse to go full tube chassis and LT! :headbang:

This is my first Tacoma only had since April came from a titan. The lack of room an power was a adjustment but the mileage an maneuverability more than makes up for it. Does all I need it to yes will def buy another one in about 10 years.

Tundra double cab comes with 6 or 8 feet bed check it out. It can seat 6 with bench as well (this is what I am getting next) .

Crewmax comes with the shorter 5.5ft bed

That said, if I lived in TX and wanted to throw $87,000 at a truck, I would get a Ford F450 blood red, dually, turbo diesel, long bed. That is a real man's truck

I just recently drove a family members brand new F-350 Power Stroke Lariat. Sticker is around $73k. Amazing truck. Total gentlemans ride. If it wasn't black I would have totally drove off with it.

Considering I drive 5K miles a year. I'll probably DD it until 75-100k miles, by then I'll retire it as a family work truck and purchase something a little more comfortable (sedan).

My current is my 2nd and while I love it, I will likely move to something else soon. I don't off road at all so really a full size is probably a better tow vehicle for me.

I plan on having it for at least the next 3 years. If by then I have a family and shit, I'll look into a third gen double cab once all the kinks are worked out. Ideally two Tacos in the garage...

I'd get a used Cruiser. Regardless, I'm in the Taco for the next 10 years or so. Plans and priorities I'm sure will change for me by then.

I liked the look, always wanted one and it was a good deal. Not saying I dont like my truck but I just miss a big cab, big bed etc.. Likewise I do like a compact truck and it being small on the outside sometimes. Our work truck is a 2014 silverado extended cab (or whatever they call them now) and I love its roomy big size when I drive it.

I'll drive mine into the ground, maybe even paint the rusted out roof to keep me from gaining an unintentional sunroof, but I doubt I will buy another Tacoma or even another Toyota again. The quality just doesn't justify the premium price anymore and the way Toyota treats its customers is just terrible. I've been really eyeing the Colorado double cabs lately, but then I drove next to an Avalanche of about the same vintage as my truck and it sounded like all the bolts were loose, so not sure GM is in my future. Maybe time to graduate to a big boy truck...

Heated mirrors from @Up2NoGood. 5100 Bilstein all four corners.
My second one but first 4x4. I like my AC and don't need anything bigger. Wife thinks it's a big truck. I told her by the time I'm ready to get a new one (10yrs) they will be big. :) I tow my trailer and Cobra easily and love the mileage. I don't need to get to the track first, just need to finish first. ;)

I have bought my last Tacoma, unless they shrink them again. I enjoyed the Gen 1, but the Gen 2 is too big for a mini pickup.

Bought my '07 new, got a '14 F-150 but traded it in on something more impractical:burnrubber:. Full size was too much truck for my needs. Bought a '15 which was like coming home!

Access Cab Taco is THE perfect sized truck for me:yes:. I'm planning on trading the '15 in in a couple of years before it goes above 120,000 miles to avoid the reluctance of potential buyers of a 350k mile Tacoma like I am experiencing now :tumbleweed:.

I've been telling the mrs. that next Tacoma might be the last DD I buy.

I plan on keeping my 2011 DCLB until the wheels fall off but will be purchasing a full size for my next 2nd vehicle. I want something with more capacity. If something happened to my Taco to the point I couldn't repair it I probably wouldn't get another. The Taco is great but my requirements have changed in the past 6 years. I don't want to trade or sell it though, I'm attached to it and the first new vehicle I have owned and payed off.

I still have 2 full size trucks/SUV. My 97 Z71 and my 89 K5 Blazer with all it's front axle goodness. But we still manage to fill most of our needs with the wifes H3 and the Taco.
