So I was on my way to work today, and I heard some rattling under my truck but didn't think much of it. A few miles down the road, my downstream O2 sensor shook loose, and apparently jettisoned somewhere. I'm not worried about replacing it, my issue is that I think some of the wiring for the sensor also got ripped out. Here is a picture of what it looks like.

I remember when I replaced the catalytic converters last year, the plugs for the sensors were pretty easy to find. Now I don't see a loose wire or anything like that. Did the wiring harness get ripped out at some point up in the frame? thanks!

and as far as ordering a replacement sensor, I'm pretty sure this is the one i need:

Was it a bung plug on the new cat that rattled out?

That explains a lot....I could have sworn there were no plugs of any sort in the aftermarket cat I bought. But now you mention it there wouldn't be two sensors right next to each other. I wonder what happened. Maybe I could find a replacement plug? What would you even call that?

    thanks you guys!
