What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I like! Which one is it? CBI or SSO?

 

Added a front bumper - now I need to re-do the suspension/add a lift as the extra ~250 lbs probably dropped the front end about an inch. Will replace front grill next ... new black mesh already ordered!

Thinking of doing an old man emu 3'' lift and going with 285/70/R17s. If I do that, will I have to mess with gears or speedometer/odometer??

 

That looks like the SSO. CBI requires more cutting as it goes up closer to the grill.

 

How much of a lift do you have on there?

 

Bilstein 6112 on the 5th notch, and icon 1.5 aal in the rear, also ended up putting the overload leaf back in as it gave it a slight bro lean. Didn't do a before and after, but seems like it gave it somewhere between 2.5-3" in the front.

 

Just finished putting on the trd pro hood decals and then washed her...daaaammmmmnnnnnn she fine!

 

I think you guys are thinking C4 Fab. CBI doesn't make a center insert style bumper yet.

 

The speedometer yes. You will be off about ~5 miles an hour at 70mph. I did a hypertech calibrator and it works great. Gears I haven't done. I don't have a problem getting around with my 33's in Mountainous Utah, but I'm not afraid to hear my engine work. I might do gears eventually, but I'd say you'll be fine without them.

Pics from yesterday's installs now that there's light. Maxtrax and Hi-Lift mounted to the rack.

 

I am running 285/70/16 and speedometer is off, and it does gear hunt a little more than stock, but you can fix that with acceleration. It is not horrible, and it doesn't bother me at all.

 

I installed the n-fab bumper bar today. Pretty easy install I had to make some custom brackets tho because of my sdhq hidden winch bumper. Overall not to bad I don't think. 30" led bar mounted on top.

 

Awesome -- what kind of lock cable are you using to secure that from walking away? :|

 

Anyone know how to get a wire from under the bed to inside the cab under the door sill?
