Considering the purchase of a 2017 or 18 Tacoma Limited very soon. I have yet to walk onto the lot, but I have watched about a million videos.... (LOL).

I owned a 2000 Taco Pre-Runner for 14 years, and although it did not have a moon roof, I do recall my head being up there close to the headliner.

As I understand it, the moon roof takes up some headliner clearance for tall drivers.

Any tall drivers (6'4") here in the 2017 Taco ...???

    Too few to list.
This really all depends on how you like your driving position. I suggest you go to the dealership and test fit/drive.

I'm 6'4" and have no issues, the steering wheel is a little tight but I'm used to it in vehicles. No issues with head space and I have no moon roof. Now the back seat passengers behind me might be a different story :D

I’m 6’4” and I fit. I have a moonroof. Head isn’t even close to touching. Driving position is pretty comfortable, if a bit cramped. Sucks when you have someone in the back seat. Really depends on your proportions though. You want auto or manual?

Tall matters, body proportion matters more.

Long torso could be a problem. Long legs, maybe not.

Actually trying it out is your only option.

I'm also 6'4. Honestly it took some getting used to... but the truck is worth the effort. To be fair we tall folks don't fit well in most vehicles (the best I've ever fit in a vehicle was a subaru outback).

Must be a Subaru thing cause the Impreza I used to have and my wife's Forester fit me like a glove

Try any German coupe or sedan. I had an A4 and I could barely even touch the pedals with the seat all the way back. Same story on many BMWs.

Our daily driver is a Forester (manual Tran). We use the Forester to tow behind our RV as well. I fit find in the Forester. Yes, I suppose the next step is to walk onto the lot.

I was kind of waiting for the 2018. I understand there will be some changes. I absolutely love the 2017 Taco, so I may very well fall in love with the 2018 as well. I'm thinking .... "be patient" ...... but it's hard.....

I'm an inch taller and disagree. Barely enough head room with the sunroof, almost no adjustment with the steering wheel, and a front seat with no vertical adjustment... In 2017?! If you're tall, you need to go sit in one to see if you can make it work.

Let's be honest. It's cool to be 6'4"... except when you want to drive a mid-sized truck. It's nice to be 5'10" for once.

Main complaints I hear from tall guys are headroom issues and seat discomfort

6'5" . 2017dcsb TrdOR. Head room... just isn't there. Maybe 2 fingers worth. Don't expect to see most traffic lights either without ducking. A lot.

I get a gangster lean when taking the trails to the pond I fish. For safety reasons.

    I like the #
On a real note. At 5'10" I have no issues. I also sit upright more so than most. So if you are a relaxed driver you should be good. The steering wheel doesn't telescope very much though. Just go try one on and give it a good test drive. If you like it enough you will make it fit. Good luck OP. The Tacoma is a great truck.

I actually understand that statement. I presently have a 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Yes, I have to practically lay my head on the dashboard to see a traffic signal. I purchased this vehicle when I traded in my 2000 Pre-Runner. Now, I'm seriously missing my truck.

My very first vehicle was a pre-owned vehicle. It was also my last pre-owned vehicle. I just don't go for second hand vehicles, I'm too old to start now ...... LOL ....
