I'm still running the stock radiator but wanting to upgrade to better quality 4 core aluminum radiator

 

This truck is very nice , the dashboard is original with all the guages and switches it would have had back then . being the Cummins is running a stock 6spd manual he adapted the stock twin stick Peterbilt shifter assy . one shifter is for the 6spd and other even though it looks real is for the parking brake

What's even cooler is he's running a vintage bell ringing reverse alarm

 

Jason had to go to a 4 core also.big difference.

Just be carefull with a fan.
He overheated even with the 4 core. He had a elect fan on the rad. I took it off and put the stock fan blade ass on. No more overheat. The elect fan and shroud was restricting air flow.

 

I tried to get a video for you of me at over 82,000# pulling about a 12% grade upshifting at the pit today, but I grabbed one to many gears and had to come to a complete stop, and start again, and I still managed to grab 4 gears after that.
Its kind of a pain to try and take video and try to grab gears at the same time. Ill try again next time they overload me.

 

I've not installed this yet but
I've got a dual fan set up from flex a lite thats a low speed set up with twin 14" fans

 

That's a lot of weight for that 12% grade

Big one. I won't talk about it over the inter webs because I don't like broadcasting certain things.

 

I used to carry a lot of that stuff, took a backpack. Now I hunt where they will not likely ever find your body even after the Spring thaw. And it can fit in a zip lock bag in the game pouch. I carry more first aide for the dog than me.

But the 3 days of pills got my attention. Not a bad idea.

Whistle without a pea LMAO. Don't get cell phone or radio reception where I hunt who in the hell is going to hear a whistle? I use them for the dogs but don't expect anyone else will hear them and hate them and beepers and bells. They are only for when the E collars run out of juice but the dogs know them and what each blast sequence means. Even if another human heard them they would likely walk the other way so they wouldn't be hunting the same area as me. And 3 gunfire shots as a distress signal? Damn that guy must be a lousy shot.

 

I know where there's an old narrow nose Pete just rotting away and the owner won't let go of it. It would be an awesome truck to have.

 

Somebody took it on a test drive and they are inside trying to make a deal on it.

After watching 2 episodes, and they drove on ice and acted like divas in both episodes, I kinda got the gist of the show.

 

Some basic bandages and Celox and I fairly well covered for first aid needs. Can be used on the dogs as well.
