Here are some of the better pictures I took during the Red Cone run on Sunday.

This is my personal favorite. This is coming down the top portion of the Middle Fork Swan River trail.

No matter how awesome a trail run is, there will always be idiots trying to ruin it for everyone. May they live in infamy on the internet for all of eternity. DSC_0235.jpg DSC_0239.jpg
This guy must've had a very bad day. Not only did he make is way at least 100 yards off the trail down the hill but he had a blown out tire (duratrac lol) and lots of rear suspension damage as well.

One one blew a sidewall, one had a tiny tear that eventually leaked out. I know there's picture evidence somewhere :boink:

Agreed! i kind of want to know the full story behind how this happened. Looking at the tracks its very odd! Since that area has plently of room to park a rig on the side of the trail unless the driver lost control.

I've seen a full size, quad cab pickup come down Radical Hill. Now, his rear tire was halfway off/over the downhill edge as he rounded the off-camber/tailing pile section of the decent... but didn't slide off.

Went up Ballard Road (129) today. Took it to the fork and decided I'd take the 129A spur. Not many pics because there aren't many views. 129A gets real narrow and rocky and then ends. I was aware of this, but not the tightness of the turn around. Basically was like Austin Powers trying to turn the golf cart around in the hallway, if you're familiar. Anyway, here are a few pics I did get, including a little carnage. Guess sliders would be, or would have been, a good idea...:anonymous: @3378jakesr5

You're wheeling in my back yard, let me know if you ever want some company. :D
You should try Bald Mtn, I think you would be fine on that trail.

I'll definitely do that! I was fine until I had to turn around. The pinch weld got crushed when I was trying to turn around and had no choice but to drop a wheel off a rock. This is the first time I've taken Ballard past the campground area. It was fun regardless.

By the way, took your advice on the Smittybuilt compressor from the discussion a few days ago in the BS thread...works great! Aired up in no time. @Madjik_Man

    Thanks for the feedback.

I'll get one of those if Old Brett would be willing to weld on the 1/4" adapter to make it more universal.

After his eye surgery of course.

    Nice.

Here's my "sliders would have be nice" photo. Literally 5 mins before this I was discussing with my passenger the benefits of sliders...

It jammed up into the door so badly that it made it bulge out... creating a lot of force on the latch mechanism. Literally couldn't open the door with all my might.

So I had to climb in the inside, remove the inner door panel and kick the living fricken snot out of it to pop it open.

Then took a 2x4 and a hammer and did some driveway body work.
