Is there a TSB for the door seals that sound like a kazoo? I've searched the site but I can't find it.

there must be something . . . I mentioned the issue to my dealer and they replaced both driver and passenger door seals, on my 2015. The new ones seemed a little heavier or thicker. I think it helped.
    Good luck!

    Here you go:

    TSB # 0170-16

    Doublecab part #'s: 67861-04062 and 67862-04062.

I had this TSB done about a month ago and it fixed the issue. No more kazoo/whistling sounds during strong crosswinds on the highway!

Hope your dealer is more accommodating about repairing it than mine (Dublin, CA Toyota) was! I had the same problem, and the dealer said unless they could duplicate the noise that they wouldn't repair it. Even after I provided them a copy of the TSB. The service writer got very testy when he found out I knew about the tsb. Wanted to know where I got it. Really? In the age of the internet? Unfortunately the sound only occurred while driving in high cross winds, and there was no way they were going to take it on a 5 minute test drive and hear it! The service advisor and I went round and round, and finally he agreed to talk to their shop foreman. Eventually they gave in and agreed to replace just the drivers door seal with the new TSB version. That was several months ago, and so far I haven't heard the noise again.

    Good luck!

I got mine done after a 82000 mile battle with dealers over the noise. No noise since it got fixed!!!!!

Many thanks! On my long trips, when I get in some high winds (head or cross) the howl is annoying. I thought it was something I'd have to live with. Calling dealer tomorrow.

Tip, after you schedule your appointment with the dealer, I'd also make a separate call to their parts department. Ask the parts department if they have those 2 part #'s in stock. If they don't, have them order them so that the parts are in stock when you go in for your appointment. This way you don't have to leave the truck with them or make a 2nd trip to the dealership.

And to add to the other posts in this thread - my dealership was also one of those that required that they be able to replicate the issue before they'd agree to do the TSB under warranty. They took the truck for a 5 minute test drive and voila... they didn't hear any noises. So it did require some verbal kung fu to get them to agree to do the TSB. One thing that helped me was that I could say that the parts department already had the door seals in stock so all they had to do was throw them on the truck!

    Good luck!

Have a friend use an electric leaf blower on the truck while you sit inside. You should be able to find a spot to replicate the noise. Then, take the electric leaf blower with you to the dealership and prove it happens.

Haha, I actually have a li-ion leaf blower. I may see if I can recreate it.

A shop air blower will work also. That's what I used to duplicate in my shop.

If you can't get the tsb done, and don't want to pay out of pocket for the door seals, you can stick tiny rubber hosing between the seals to make a better seal and stop the noise. There is a fix it thread on here somewhere about it. Probably what I'm gonna do because I'm outside of the warranty period for a tsb to be a free fix and I'm not paying a ton of cash for something I can fix for a couple of dollars.

I can't find the solution on here. I thought it was the one with the hood seal, but it didn't work on mine. It's annoying as hell though on longer drives.

Don't you love when you have to manage other people's job's for them because they don't know how to do it themselves?

I do it all the time...

I have a video of mine... which I shared with my dealer shortly after purchasing my truck back in 2015. When I received the TSB earlier this year, I was ecstatic.

If you need my footage, let me know and I'll post it up!

If you complained about it during your warranty period it should be covered out of warranty. Previous complaint.

cold temps and crosswinds were the culprits. Must have been a material change in the seals that make them softer/weaker in 2015.
