    It's not that bad here. Even when Allison came through. I saw pics of the neighborhood. Sure, the highways were flooded, but the neighborhood was mostly intact.

    My concern are the large pecan and oak trees in the neighborhood. Rains and wind wreck havoc on trees. We may have to deal with roads being blocked because of them.

    Also, if power goes out, I worry about potential looters. So yay!

    I've made a map for her of the high roads to take to get back home. It avoids the freeways and low roads that flood. If that route is unpassable, then she can't make it in. However, if med center is flooded, they will raise the flood gates to the garage and no one can leave.
