It was rough at times, you don't get to loose focus at all. Most days were ~300 miles maximum, @ 65-70mph any faster the bike vibrated so much I went numb below the belt. My friend was on his 1983? Yamaha Seca 750. He had clutch cable failure after his bike was running rough when we were passing through the Rockies and we were stuck in Issaquah WA waiting for 3 days to get a clutch cable when we decided to cut the trip from 4-5 weeks to 3 and rent a truck and return home.

So I'm looking on Amazon and it doesnt seem all that expensive for a pair of new ones. Is there a particular brand everyone likes? I've seen people buying/selling DEPO lights on TW. can anyone tell me about the quality? I'm not sure if I would retrofit the new ones I buy or my OEM ones. My oem has a bit of the hazing on the passenger light. I'm sure if I choose to retrofit the OEM ones, once I get the lens off, I can polish that one up though.

Depo ones seem to be good. I'd retrofit the aftermarket ones since the lenses will be pristine.

i posted the same query on the lehigh valley thread. anyway, someone said the depot ones will haze inside and out? i just need someone with experience with them. yeah, I think i'd rather do less work and just retro the aftermarket..

Ah, sorry, I don't have personal experience with them. I do know that most light vendors who sell complete retrofits use aftermarket lights because the OEM ones are so much more expensive. You could ask them which brand lights they use.

I have Depo taillights. I've had them over 5 years, still like new.
