I'm looking into getting a suspension lift on my truck, but would like to do it myself (with another friend lifting a Xterra) and I've never worked on suspension before. I ran into the kit on the URL below that doesn't burn too much of a hole in my pocket and lifts both ends while leveling it out a bit too. Does anyone have any reviews/comments on this particular kit, things to be careful of, and any possible wear that could be expected to the truck's suspension by installing these kinds of kits? All I really know as of right now is that I want to avoid strut disassembly.

I just want to keep my truck in good condition and safe driving, but give it a bit more clearance and off-road look.

Also, I understand that a suspension lift over 2" starts getting more complicated and expensive, so I'm wondering if this particular kit is an exception to that?

I personally would not install a block lift on a truck. You are pretty much down grading your suspension. Save some more cash and get er done right the first time. @HeadStrong Off-Road Offers excellent lift kit packages at super competitive prices. @ToyTec Lifts Also offer a broad range of lift kits at competitive pricing. Also, let's not forget Wheelers Off Road as well. Search those three for ideas, get some quotes, and all three of them have top notch customer service. Also, you can contact me any time for any insight, or if you're in the Central Texas area, my shop rates are the lowest you'll find.
