WHY doesn't it keep the last setting I had? I know if you flip the temp to max it turns on recirculate, but when I take it off max and manually turn off recirculate, WHY turn it back on every time I start the truck? I have NEVER had a vehicle do that!

Max air shuts outside air off in all cars so the cabin can cool off quicker. It also helps when driving by a dead skunk. Why it's on when starting the truck is 50/50 ask Toyota.

Mine does the same thing, I always thought you were supposed to use the fresh air setting when you first turn it on and also before you turn it off and recirculation was for use as soon as the cabin was cooled off to be more efficient.

I belive there is an option to change it to not recirc via the entune vehicle set-up option.

I am assuming, of course, that like me you have the dual zone climate control.

My recirc only comes on during max ac, otherwise it defaults to off.

yup, you can change that setting in the entunes...would be nice for the truck to start off in that mode and then switch to outside vent

You can change it there, and on Techstream. Mine only goes to recirculate when I command a low enough temperature. 69 is the perfect temperature for most days. :bananadance:

Also it doesn’t stay on fresh air after you turn the vehicle off I am pretty sure...turn your ignition off, and be quiet. You’ll hear the flap close a minute or two later. If it stayed open, all kinds of no-good would be able to enter your vehicle through the fresh air inlet.

I am gonna have to fool around on the Entune to see if I can find a setting to change mine.

When it defaults to Recirculate it recycles moist/mildew/assfunk air. So you consciously have to take an action to set it to Vents Open (Outside Air) before shutting down for at least a few minutes to get it to dry the system out.... need goddamned preflight and parking checklists to drive this truck.
ECT on? Check. Shift Limiter on? Check. Shift Sense Pro connected? Check. OVTune Engaged? Check. Rear Diff not leaking? Check.

"s" mode aka Shift Limiting Mode...aka Sport Mode to compliment "ECT" aka Turbo Button.

I have the single zone climate control system. Thanx guys. I'll hook up TechStream to see if it can modify it.

I think the Recirc only comes on if you have the AUTO button pushed.... I don't use the auto button... I like to set things MY way..!
