More power is never bad in my books.

Bump up that TC stall speed in 1st gear and you can use all that newfound power. I bet you could gain over a second on 0-60 times if you could launch it normally.

Tune kit on a USPS truck en route to the casa - oh yea!

Ready! ...though I am hoping to hear some news from the dyno yesterday on 1.02. Assuming they just did a TON of tests in it yesterday and perhaps well into the night and OV needs sleep.

Would be cool if OVTune had someone to handle their multimedia.

Second dyno tune and we are in the dark yet again

He said it was several days of dyno tuning it, i.e Thursday and Friday.

    He'll update when he's ready

Again trucks aren't meant for 0-60 times. Its the low end torque for offroading and towing. You do realize to get 301hp you have to rev up to 6600 rpm. Not ideal for sure.

I got my tune flashed last night and put about 3 drive cycles on it (approx 30 miles total). The driving experience has changed for certain, it is much quicker to respond to throttle input and the engine feels like it's actually doing what it should have from the factory. I even managed to spin my right tire a little while taking a right turn flooring it, which before it would just barely chirp (trac off). That by itself tells me it has woken up a bit.

Seems to smooth out and feel more light on its feet the more drive cycles I do.

I only tested ECT in a section of commute, and by far the biggest push in response and power is in ECT mode.

It still drives like a truck, but that "driving thru syrup" flat on it's face feeling in normal acceleration has been eliminated. It seems to be refining itself a bit the more cycles I put on.

I'm on stock Michelens on the 18inch rims, so no oversized tires. Making a right turn I floored it to see if it would break traction, and in fact it did! Surprised me, but i don't do that all the time. I just wanted to see the "power" it had low end.

On my GMC Sierra I had, it never had a problem burning the right tire off from a stand still, even pointing forward.

Everyone who ordered will be getting a kit.

I will have some information to share later and files to update over the weekend. I will be unavailable tomorrow morning as I will be finalizing a tune for the new MX5 Edelbrock supercharger.
