Monday opens up for any weapon season, do you guys hunt with a bow or switch over to rifle. If I go to my hunting blind I change it up when I go...sometimes I'll take my bow, other times I'll take a muzzle loader or rifle. Depends what I feel like shooting something with.

Been hitting the range quite a bit and archery deer opens this Friday!

She's all dialed in and feels real comfortable.

Good luck everyone! Fill those freezers!

i have different seasons for each. i can opt to hunt with a bow or x bow during firearm season. we can't bring 2 different weapons out at the same time. i hunt bow the most, and if i do go out with a firearm i use the muzzle loader

Archery starts here mid September and runs into January depending on location. Rifle season is all of 12 days. I'm really debating getting rid of my rifle for a bow since you can use the bow for so much longer.

Im pretty sure we dont have any amount of weapons we can bring...but bow is for compound or recurve only, then any weapon is anything bow, crossbow, muzzleloader rifle etc.., then late muzzleloader is exposed cap no inline and no sabots.

where are you? thats a nice bow season. Maryland is what got me into bow hunting. Their season was really long and multiple deer, some counties had unlimited does...

Crossbow was only if you were disabled until 5 years ago now it's included in bow season here. You can also use almost any ML you want can't be smooth bore. The only center fire rifle season we have is special coyote and fox.

I have unlimited antlerless deer. That's anything up to 3" of antler. And if you get all the permits and extra tags you can take 8 buck a year. I think it's bs, it should be 2 or 3 antlerless and 2 max for bucks. It's more about the money generated from the fee's and population control then anything else.

Bow is awesome here. Basically open from mid September till end of January. Only goes out for the two weeks of shotgun.

I would like to add a few weeks to deer season by adding a bow to the lineup.
Any tips/suggestions/advice ya'll can give to someone looking to get into the sport? Brands to stay away from, used brands to look into, just anything in particular to look for.
And is it possible to convert to a bow fishing setup during the off season?
I would like to start with a low budget (sub $500) to get started.

some and more and more and more and
Are you brand new to compound bows?
    If you are, do
lots and lots and lots and lots
    of reading and more so
lots and lots and lots and lots
of practicing with whatever bow you end up with so that you can become one with your weapon!
It's an awesome feeling when that happens.!
