Apparently so. I skimmed the linked video and didn't watch all of it.

Security camera probably more interesting than most of what's on TV at dinner time.

Yep, people take it as face value. I keep a picture of Robi's neck to flash at people. Try living with this in your neck for 35 years and the constant pain from disc removal and not able to turn your head or lift your arm over your head. Same thing applies to her service dog, it might not be what you perceive.

Long story, teaching aerobics, something went wrong in her neck, workman comp insurance denied and fought it since they had made bad investments and were having financial trouble, went bankrupt on us, $500,000 in medical bills, misdiagnoses, finally a review of a 10 year old xray showed a glitch that was passed off as an artifact, MRI - boom - ruptured herniated disc fell into her spinal column, removed, fused vertebrae, ok for one year then another went, more surgery, more metal. The real pisser was fighting for disability for 15 years, when she finally got it after court, lawyers, got 3 years back payments. Now chronic pain and medication runs $600 month with insurance but she makes the best of it.

And this happened just after our first wedding anniversary.

Sorry to hear that bro! My mom went through a similar thing. After 10 surgeries and no fix they installed a pain pump that injected pain meds. Yes I mean installed. Cut her open and put a refillable pump that need to be refilled every 3 months. She passed away of congestive heart failure. Please. No sympathy needed here. Just sharing a similar story and hope for better for @anonemoose and his wife. Having to fight it all really sucks.

    That sucks.

Reason I guessed car accident is that I saw a lot of similar cervical inserts on x-rays when I was working at a chiropractor's office, but they were all from car accidents/whiplash.

    This.

Our cable went out multiple times a few months ago (we only have basic since we can't get anything over the air where I live)

They came out and repaired it only to have it last a couple of days at most.

After the last repair visit, we now have EVERY channel excepting PPV ones. Keep in mind that in my area that's only around 60 channels, not hundreds.

So for the last few months we have every channel and it basically reminds me why I won't pay for anything over basic because there is still NOTHING on that I care to watch.

Went out to eat at a dinner. McDonald's employee came in and ordered a cheeseburger to go.
