    Method Wheels vs SCS Wheels

    * Which would you pick?
    * Quality?
    * Weight?
    * Cost? (Seems about the same)
    * Rivets. I know you can get the SCS Painted Black but seems you have to take the Method ones out and paint them yourself.
    * SCS Are hard to get (but may be worth the wait)
    * What are some other pros and cons to both sets?
    * Is there another wheel that competes with these.

    Other.....I went with SCS F5s. I was looking for a lightweight option and they produce a top notch product.

    I would but that isn't an option in your poll.

    Personal opinion, but I don't like how the method center caps protrude out.

    And the SR8s can fit the TRD center caps :thumbsup:

    I'm a method man myself. Would love to eventually try some scs ray 10s. I've always loved methods but one reason I get them is because through discount tire direct (which carries methods) if you buy wheels and tires they will mount and balance them for free and ship them for free. Plus they've always been in stock when I've ordered.

    Love my methods glad I went with them. Was gonna get some SCS SR8 but they are always sold put in my size and color. Methods on the other hand is most of the time available cost is about the same, and look just as good. Plus every now and them they have sales goin on. I got mind from autoanything at 20% off. This was awhile ago tho. On another note Fuel wheels makes a wheel that looks like mine. Think it's call fuel recoil or vector if am not mistaken they are little bit cheaper too.20170412_135117.jpg

    SCS - Vin is the man - he gave me a ridiculously good price on 5 blemished wheels that were mismatched and I painted them to match:

    They got anything like the Ray10s without the fake beadlocks?

    Then again, fake beadlock and fake hoodscoop kinda go together.;)

    They all have them except for the stealth six and the F5's. I just took mine out and I'm going to paint them black or just not put them back in.

    Can't speak for the methods, but the RAY-10 are designed to convert to true beadlock...That was the selling point for me:thumbsup:

    I know this is fucked up, but I voted methods so that I dont instigate any competition for some rays.

    SCS. And its not close.

    Quality, looks and service are second to none. Yes, worth the wait as I had to wait for my Gunmetal F5s.

    On your Red Gen 2, I might pick SCS Matte Bronze and whatever wheel style you want. F5 looks best on Gen 1 as they are simple design but on your truck I'd pick perhaps Ray 10 or Stealth. Trust me, worth the wait. Cant tell you how many compliments I get on the wheels, clean or muddy.

    Good luck and post those pics!
