Yep, @hoarder23 didn't need traction boards at BMRA last time, but he sure did need a winch or two. @SuperBad also had to use his winch on Solihull to help another guy who couldn't make it up the hill in 4wd.

 

Nah , just add a .5 degree of difficulty if its wet...

This is true! I used mine last time i was out there because it was wet... and because i wanted to, more skinny pedal would has probably done it though.

Yeah we do need to talk about a meetup place... I mean for those of you that want to have a meetup at an OHV, go to Gilmer labor day weekend. Its technically in Sept. For those of you that want to meet more local, we need to suggest a place.

Tacos & Tacos at the lake was a big success last time, but im sure some of us will appreciate it more when the weather is cooler. Also the brewery off 35w that let us walk out to our trucks with our beer was pretty nice to...

 

It's not even supposed to rain here now.

 

Brewery was Shannon in Keller. We need another spot like that with little fucks to give as long we aren't breaking glasses in the road.

Yeah I liked that place alot. Very chill and not alot of people to bother us.

 

The only negative was no food.

 

Lets bring our own. Hell, there is enough room there we could bring a grill and make some burgers/tacos/whatever there next to the trucks. I doubt they would mind.

I didn't use the winch. Just a tow strap to pull him up the hill. I did use my locker to ensure I got power to both rear wheels incase I needed more traction.

Won't have my truck back for tomorrow after all. I will try to get out there next Saturday, but I have family coming in town so most likely miss.

 

@Zac of all trades I have a suggestion for the meetup. The Flying Saucer in Addison, has over 100 beers on tap! And chicks in school girl outfits as well!

 

Yeah i have been there. I will throw it up for votes but i personally think that place is overpriced. Good selections though... Im also not that much of a beer person. I prefer sailor jerry spiced rum!

 

I changed to poll so everyone can vote 2 times now... Or should i just go ahead and lock in the date and have it open to places only now?

It seems that all of our meetups happen on a sunday now.... or is it just me...
