nah it's all good, I sit at a desk Monday thru Friday so that's why I'm on here all the time. On the weekends I'm barely on, maybe once or twice unless I'm doing truck related stuff

Well it seems a lot of people are liking October 14th in the other thread. We've got a torque wrench so

@zacharypaul89, do any of those FFL guys you know do basic gunsmithing? Literally all I need is a barrel link pin punched out and put into a new barrel but the local smiths want $30 minimum just to look at it.

Alternatively, if anyone here has a good punch set I might be able to get it done myself.

I also need some insight on how to have the sliders before I get them burnt in. Want them to be able to be used as a step bit not look out of place

Trail gear. Have to weld gussets, feet, and plates to the feet on.

So I would weld the feet on first at set that at an angle of like 20* or no angle, then weld the plates to the feet followed by the gussets. Then weld it all to the frame but make sure you can clear the doors and you have enough room up front in case you wanted to ever go 35's. That way you don't have to cut the slider if you go that route :welder:

Don't get it too close as when the legs flex a little it'll hit the pinch weld at the bottom. Mine kinda does it a little, which is why I don't like using my hi-lift all that much

My friend only does orders, so no gunsmithing. The other guy is my dad's friend and I think he may. He owns Section 8 gun store here in Jackson: (678) 774-8320...warning: he's ex-special forces and can kind of be an asshole lol.

Damn, I'm closer to duluth. The drive probably wouldn't make it worthwhile... thanks though. I almost wonder if it'd be better for me to just buy a new link and pin.

I've got other mods way more expensive and seem more needed so I think the rear suspension is okay for a little while longer

I'm going full bro on my wheels when I paint them....need ideas.

These wheels are about the only 18x10 so almost everyone has them, going satin or semi gloss black with green accents. Thinking about doing like... a big toyota symbol on the spokes.Screenshot_20170826-164248.jpg

Same, I'm gonna wait until I can relocate my rear shocks before I buy new ones
