Thing I don't understand about hydro bumps is why the mounting kits are so goddamn expensive? They cost more than the bumps themselves.

I haven't take the truck to a really hard trail yet because I don't have sliders, but one of my friends told me that I will need bump. I guess I will be ok with the rubber bump for now. Thanks for all the info.

Icon kit $665 delivered. Seems to be the cheapest of the bunch. But then you'd have Icon stuff on your truck.

Basically from most I've read, superbumps up front (and probably rear) will compress about 1/4" past what the stock bumps could every hope to compress too. Which isn't much up front, but a bit in the rear.
Because those are all custom fabbed, so you're paying for R&D and then someone to weld them all together. Plus bolt on stuff is usually pricey compared to non bolt on (if you're welding it yourself). You can easily just buy bump cans and some plate and weld it to the frame, but hopefully you've got the bump height perfect and everything set right, which the bolt on cans have done for you, you just bolt them up (and remove the stock bump pad)

So from all this it looks like the shock relocate is a waste and you dont need 12" shocks. I have been running a 11.65 travel cheap ass billy for several yrs with no bumps on expo springs with stock locations and zero problems. Makes the mind blow.

    I really should thank @sidetracked
He is a good dude, and he recommended my set up. The springs are the limiting factor. Find a shock that fits it and boom. Magic or just plan science. What ever it was it works and has proven to be a good set up. But if you got money to waste. Why not go SUA LT in the rear, or go crazy like jberry and go custom leafs and do it right. Now dont get me wrong The shock relocation opens you up to more options for rear shocks but im just saying its not necessary worth it.
