I think the best way to dry it out is to determine which air is better suited to dry it out. Out where I am, it's probably better to dry it out using recirc, a/c off. That way there is dry air passing through, as opposed to letting the hot very humid air in. I think.

Yup, either way will work depending on where you're located. I leave on recirculated also and live in SoCal, your old stomping grounds.
I'll get the damp air smell once I turn it off, but it's never mildew-like or too musty. It's only damp smelling for about 3-5 mins and then it's gone.

Checked all the Entune Settings (Tech Package) could not find anything besides Driver Settings - > auto ac. But it doesn't appear to do anything. Has anyone figured out how to do it on Entune?

You still have the ability to read posts from an ignored member, as you've clearly done...and doing that would mean ignoring people would be pointless. But then you wouldn't get the opportunity to make sure you announce you've ignored someone, like a mature adult.

Except I wasn't the one claiming that I didn't care and then posting in the thread

On mine I think the only time the recirculation comes on automatically is when I have the temp dial turned all the way to the left, at it's coldest setting. Back it up one click to the right and the automatic recirculation turns off.

This thread makes me laugh. After driving this truck for nearly 2 years, I have no idea when that comes on or not, but I'm going to keep an eye out. So far, the setting was where I wanted it. Except for that one time I drove by a dead skunk, I hit the recirculate button.

Nope. I never have my a/c on "Max" which is all the way to the left. I keep mine just above the click you are speaking of and the re-circulation is on everytime I punch the a/c button to on. My truck is a SR5 also.
