Question for you tundra caliper folks, I'm looking to get some new wheels, bullet hole style. All the ones confirmed in the 4runner thread are no longer made. Anyone know of any that are currently made and fit?

Never really. I'm daily driving/catching up on maintenance currently with it. POs didn't do anything but change oil (I think). Timing belt was still the factory one at 250k. Was talking to my dad today about ball joints popping/snapping, must have cursed myself. Really want OEM but I doubt I'll be able to get them before Monday...

I mean it was well maintained but things like LBJs weren't messed with. I got the truck for $750, hardly any rust on the frame (surface only) so I can hardly complain.

Got the code reader. Been throwing an O2 sensor code since 2012 (Toyota Owners app says so)

Aircabman on eBay sells a great oem timing belt kit. Comes with accessory belts, wp and everything. Just installed it on my donor motor.

Yup that's the one I put on my truck.

I haven't been worried about it since it's been going on for 5 years and nothing has happened. I'll get to it eventually. All these damn maintenance items keep pushing back my mods...

I drive it more than I drive my 01 Cobra, I love it. The Cobra is currently broke as well and I have no motivation to fix it lol. I tend to fix/toy with my truck daily.

Thoughts on slapping an autozone ball joint in until I can get OEM ones, then using autozones as backups?

Oh I know, I've seen the horror stories. I just need to slap a new on in if the local dealership doesn't have any, which I am sure they don't since they never do. It'd only be temporary (1-2 days I'd hope). My truck currently is blocking our whole driveway.

I see no issue with putting aftermarket LBJ's on for a couple days temp solution and to keep as trail spares. Typically aftermarket just wears out MUCH faster, so for something like this I don't see any harm in it.

That was my thought. I need the truck to get to and from school until I can get OEMs from Camelback

Came out pretty decent, might redo it next summer if I get ambitious, probably a different color too...
