Yeah more or less, I filled the gap between the lens and the rear backing of that makes sense haha if I think of it I will try to post a picture of what I did lol I'm at the lake tho so no promises hahaha and btw they do not come with reverse bulbs. And stocks SUCK in these tails haha that's why I installed flush mounts into my rear bumper lol

Just hit 25,000 miles on my 2015. Already said goodbye to Toyota care, so I just did my first oil change on a V6. All my previous trucks have been 4 cylinders. Gotta say, it was an awesome experience.

I guess I have been living under a rock, because I had no idea that the factor quart oil bottles were the same thread as the oil cap. When I made a redneck funnel out of the first bottle, that baby screwed right in to the oil fill hole.

    I love this truck. Lol

Appreciate it! Funny you mention it, we were sitting at dinner talking about it and she said "at least we did get to go off-roading again, so that was nice"!

The same shit everyone else has.
These were beat when I started on them. Bubbling clear, corrosion, typical Toyota wheels. I chipped and scraped all the ugly shit off with a screwdriver/pick/whatever first.

Once that was done, I hit them with a coarse wire wheel to really clean everything up. The goal is to get rid of all the ugly stuff. If you dont, itll come back.

Scuff em down with 100 grit sand paper. Get all the loose stuff off. Make sure the clear isnt glossy anymore. You dont have to remove the clear, just scuff it . Wipe em off. Etch prime em next.

Shoot em with a few coats - I did 4 - of high build sandable primer. This will fill any of the small scratches left over. Once the primer is dried, sand em with 220 sand paper to smooth em out and level the primer. Then wet sand with 400 grit paper.

Then wipe em down again. They are now ready for color.

    Thanks

Thanks for the run down - etch prime 1 or 2 coats before filler primer? And yes, they look great

Two weeks ago I did my first modification and replaced the dented up factory chrome bumper with a sturdier model. Yesterday I tackled my first real bit of upgrades.

    Full list of upgrades:
Body Armor 4x4 rear bumper powder cited black with shackles and LED license plate light.Pro Comp Alloy Wheels in Satin Black with BFG ALL Terrain KO2 265/70R17

Replaced factory Bilstein TRD coil overs with Fox IFP 2.0 Corp overs for 2 inches of front Lift.

Removed TRD Off Road decals, to be replaced with. White American flag decals.F3DCD452-13FE-442B-830A-0E219BFD4A69.jpg5B770153-EE87-4445-A7BD-4F0546D65978.jpg01EA1EAF-F5CE-4045-ABFD-ED790B3D3E41.jpg7EFE76FA-5743-4750-92BC-3D24C6321FAD.jpg

Do you have a better picture of the rear bumper? I have the front bumper from body armor 4x4 and was thinking about getting the rear. Great looking truck!
