Well it is raining in Killeen and the wind looks to have picked up, but this area isn't forecasted for more than about 25 mph.

Actually getting a couple of bands of light rain up here. Just enough to settle the dust.

I'm kinda watching wind, rain and roads from here to Menard. Thinking about dropping down 83 to I-10 there if it's not too windy.

I seen a big crawfish cooker yesterday that I thought was pretty cool...then realized we don't have crawfish in Yuma and (if we did) it wouldn't fit in the Jeep.

And you don't see their pansy asses in the desert when it's 120 doing a roadside report...I guess LL Bean doesn't make a garment for that.

Good morning, spent my Friday night and morning cleaning and trying to catch up on here has take a good chunk of my Saturday morning LOL.

My father was a truck driver drove for a company that went out of business when he was in his 50's. He was a teamster all those years so sold the house and bought a tractor and went OTR with my mother. They incorporated, this was before LLC's and made me the treasure or something like that LOL. But he could keep paying into retirement for teamsters being as he was now a company.

One night in upstate NY during a blizzard he switched trailers out without putting on his gloves to raise and lower the dollies on the trailers. His hands hurt him for the rest of this life when it got cold, as in anything below 50 degrees. He made it to retirement then bought a huge ass motor home and Mom and him traveled the country. About a year after he retired is when he got hit with cancer. He elected surviving spouse retirement for Mom and she still gets a check once a month. With the latest Teamsters scandal it dropped $5 a month, which is better than most got hit with.

That one girl for channel 3 was trying to do a roadside report in the middle of a dust storm one day. Kept getting her mouth full of dirt.
