    Mine is the chipped metal type of ring...like $100 maybe. We picked that one out solely because we knew I'd scratch a smooth one up. Between the gym, fishing, fiddling with my truck, and cleaning deer, I don't need any fancy shit lol. I take mine off at the gym sometimes, but it's rare because I'd end up losing it.

    It's not that it's fancy or not. It's that it can get clamped on or hung up.
    Bring a gym bag of some sort a Zip it in a pocket. Like I said I've seen it happen and it looked pretty painful.
