Spotted this truck at Green River Lake in Wyoming during the eclipse. Pretty sure it was a Colorado plate. Someone here?

@FrostyEldin I'm down. I don't know what it would look like over the Labor Day weekend. Go after that.

 

Might need to borrow a 2nd gen fender with a snorkel... my family lives in Houston and is stranded in their home. If it gets much worse a snorkel fender would be much appreciated. If nothing else I will bring you the fender and snorkel back if the truck floods.

A snorkel won't help you though... don't lose your truck trying to help them. A boat would be much better.

 

There's less than 5 feet of water in most places... a snorkel and a bed full of rocks and I'm there

 

I dont have a snorkel so Im just going by what I understand... but I believe a snorkel is for dust rather than water.
Water that's deep enough to get sucked in by a stock intake is going to destroy your fan and cause a miriad of other problems first.

I don't think a tacoma with any amount of rocks and snorkels is going to go cruising around in 5 feet of water.

 

Don't forget that raising the level of your air intake is only one of the things that needs to be done to prepare a Tacoma for extremely high water. Electronics would be the next thing I'd look at.
