Ok, MIL safe and sound on Cap Hill. Watching the wind and rain pick up. She was all "this isn't bad" and then we watched the rain and wind intensify in front of us. "Uh, you were saying Mama?"

 

Lots of wind and a little rain here on West side of SA.

Happy to be here and not 4hrs East in Houston. Hope they save the Tacos.

 

Was just outside to sweep up some trash and heard a loud noise, sounded like something came crashing down. Bouts to jump in my car real quick

Y'all seen the video of the 2-tone boat storage place that looks shredded (in Rockport)? That's 2mi from boss man's beach house. Said he didn't have time to get there and board it up. I'm glad I got to see it last month, as I don't know that it's going to be there anymore.

 

I don't Rockport, Port Aransas, or any of those towns right where Harvey made landfall is there anymore. Those pictures they keep showing make it look completely flattened.

 

Some friends of ours sold their vacation house last year. They said the neighborhood it was in was hit hard.

Hope everyone who rode it out still evacuates. Power, water, telephone, and cell service are going to be out for a while.

 

What hood? I haven't been able to get any info on their subdivision. I'm kinda hoping some of us go down and help clean up.
