Amanda and I picked apples off our honey crisp tree and grapes today. Picture is just a sampling of the apples we have from one tree. If you have never tried one, honey crisp is a very sweet apple, expensive to buy. 2017 was a good year here in Pa for apples among other fruits and vegies!

Was scared to do mine, but was easy. Drain, drop the pan, clean magnets, re-install, fill, then remove front grill, remove line from tranny cooler, hook up hose to both lines, one with drill pump, turn truck on, turn drill pump on, keep going until dirty bucket full, and clean bucket empty. Re-install lines, check fluid, re-install overflow bolt, done!!! :D

Me, either and ex always said "if you want it, get it" so had lots of cc debt. Once said to my dad "wish you'd taught me to save" - he said, "wish I'd been able to". Broke my heart when he said that :( Started saving way too late.

:hungry: send some my way, please :D

The thing is, my dad knew how to save. But he never taught me, and maybe thats why I never figured it out on my own till it was to late. We grew up with only the basics. My dad worked his ass of, and we never had shit. So I saw that, I figured there was something wrong with that picture.
Now my dad owns the house I grew up in and a McMansion for a snowbird retreat here in AZ.
Oh. THATS why we never had shit when I was a kid. DUH. I told him a few years back, I wish someone would have explained and taught me the value of money, because I only figured it out a few years ago.
So, the way I look at it at this stage of the game is I have to have stuff paid off. So thats what Im TRYING to do.

Have the weather channel on and Rockport looks pretty bad as does Katy :( :pout: Only mentioned one dead so far. Hope there aren't too many more (know there will be some) Heard one Mayor said to write your social security # on your arm with permanent marker so they could id your remains  Hope you are safe where you are....

So not nice of your dad. What was his response when you asked him? Get that crap paid off. All I had was my mortgage until I got the Subie.... it's 0% interest. After my divorce, was about $12k in debt until I realized what it was costing me (interest rates) on that amount. Had a friend who had been saving since he was a kid and he smacked me upside the head and taught me what to do and what not to do. So nice to not have to pay anyone the end of the month.
