People suck , AKA Someone hit my Tacoma in the parking lot

Got the estimate from the body shop back... $2300 damage, including the entire side panel, gas door and gas cap, plus an internal brace.

 

Sucks dude, I feel your pain. Neighbor did a hit and run on me a week or two ago. Didn't leave a note and caused 2k in damage.

 

Sorry to see what happened. If shit like that happened to me, the better hope I don't find them.

 

Since you know it's your neighbor, did the slut pay for it ?

 

Yea seriously, if you know it was a neighbor...they are paying for it right? In most states is a felony to hit and run. If he/she did that to me and refused to pay for it, I would call the police.

 

I'm going to keep my eye on this product to see if the company delivers the promise. The promise is nice... I've had bad luck with kickstarters, so I watch and wait.

I live in a complex with 170 "neighbors". I have a feeling of who did it but I can't prove it. And the video camera I park in front of had a "glitch" the evening it got it and it's missing several hours of footage.

 

May they die in a fire.

People like that freaking suck.

 

Looks like who ever did this was trying to back out with rear pass door open so whoever did it has some door damage.

 

That would make sense with the shape and height of the marks...

The happy news is that whether today or tomorrow, they usually get what is coming to them.

 

Missing Footage...hmmmm... Who controls that..? The Super, maybe..?? His wife kids, or he himself is now a suspect in MY books...!!

Who has control of that camera and what do "they" drive..?? Is it damaged or "missing-in-action"...(Ie..in the body shop)..?

 

The HOA association has control over it, they had a cut rate installer install the system and has had issues since install. No one from management lives in the complex. The footage is there, but there's hours missing from it because of the camera cutting in and out.

 

Damn..!!

I've been told by a buddy in law enforcement that these parking lot camera never seem to catch an accident such as this. Too much of a headache for the business to deal with. Unless someone was injured, any video just seems to disappear.
