People who lower trucks should be lit on fire. :bananadead:

Nothing wrong with a differing opinion, it's just sometimes.... there should be laws. LOL

    Agreed

There should be a law that I can't lower my $87,000 dually :)

Lowering a dually at least makes some sense (if the load carrying capacity isn't affected). The entire point of a dually is to tow heavier loads because the extra tires add carrying capacity.

But the guys who lift dually trucks, and then have to install a drop hitch... they aren't too smart.

Tacoma lost me with the 3gen. I'm not a 3gen basher, it's just not for me.

I have a few different vehicles in mind.
    In order of probability:
    Tundra
    4Runner
    F-150 :crapstorm:
    Wrangler :anonymous:

Bought mine planning to run the wheels right off it, at 205k, that has yet to change. Are they expensive for what you get? sure, but they also fit a certain set of needs.

I have always enjoyed owning vehicles that were engineered to make maintenance relatively easy & intuitive more, working under the dash? real nice to have the bolts in that little tight spot way up there, angled in such a way it only takes an extension to get to them rather than 6 months of contortionist training.

That said, my needs fit the truck, I do light hauling + towing, light off-roading, & DD it. Reliability and versatility are key, as long as Toyota keeps integrating these into the Taco, I will buy another (after turning this one into an overlander, of course).

There should be a law paying that much for a Ford. Ouch.

    All the time!!!
Well I Love my 2015 Tacoma, and maybe it will last till they come out with a 4th Generation, but I've went and looked at the 3rd's twice, and had to go home with the upset stomach, and diarrhea both times, and I don't think I could own one.
