    Hi Guys,

We just picked up a 2016 Off Road. Love it so far but don't know all the ins and outs yet. If there is anything I should check or do first let me know!

PS it's longer than my 4Runner and won't fit in the garage haha

Truck looks very unsafe. Chrome grille could blind oncoming driver (need TRD Pro grille), 16 wheels might overheat under hard braking (need 18"), tires don't have enough traction if you skid off the road into a swamp (need 42 x 18 x 10 Mickey Thompson's), engine is underpowered for passing on freeway (need cold air intake and cat-back, ECU tune, and shift sense), roll cage is a must for safety, as is an LED light bar......etc etc etc.

Welcome! How do you like the powertrain on the Tacoma coming from a 4Runner?

The Tacoma feels like it’s I struggling from stop compared to the 4 runner. The 4Runner is much smoother. However, on the highway the Tacoma is better from 40 +mph. I have a small trailer with RTT and I almost want to say the Tacoma handles that better.

Thanks for the feedback. I test drove both and found the same. Tacoma slower off the line but pulled harder once it got going.
