Are those LCA skids steel?

 

Hooters is $30, but comes with $20 gift card for use at another time. For a lot of people that would still mean $30 though

 

Will do. Going to get them mounted up tomorrow morning. Can't wait until the BAMF IFS Skid get in as it will also have the BAMF logo on it as well.

DANG IT! I should have done Red on the Passenger Side, White on the IFS Skid, and Blue on the Driver Side... so when you look at it it would be Red White Blue!

Oh yes they are... I don't do Aluminum when it comes to skids.

 

Looks damn good. The R/W/B paint would be pretty sweet.

 

I went aluminum thinking they will be protection from my truck not following my precision driving input. just a backup plan. In AZ they surprised me how strong they are

 

I shouldn't have much trouble knowing which RTIC is mine now. Finally put all the stickers I've been accumulating to use.

Good to see Im not the only one who hoards stickers.

 

If you look close you can still see the RTIC logo. The carpet Camo blends well.

I have 1 sticker on my truck. TW in the back window thats now hiding behind my rack. II did think about copying @Zac of all trades and go with the inside bed or maybe put them under the hood. In the end the cooler works just as well and now it doesnt look exactly like everyone elses who has the same cooler.

All the stickers have been thrown in with purchases or came from vendors at Jambo and Overland Expo. I did end up buying 1, the "@ChadsPride likes this" and threw it on. I knew I would do something with them just wasnt sure what cooler to start with.

Well, UFC.TV crashed and that was where we ordered the PPV.

 

I dont have a welder or grinder. I could buy the grinder, but welding is not my thing. Anybody know of a shop in Keller area that can do this? I am not opposed to the grinding but I dont want to learn welding whit this as a first project.

 

I got mine done at Tandem (South Ft Worth) for about $100 if I remember right.

 

Pretty sure all-out offroad in NRH could tackle it. Their labor rate is $95/hr though. And of course Tandem, but they're slightly further. I don't think you should limit yourself to Keller.

 

I can drive it anywhere, closer to home is better obviously. I guess ill do a little calling tomorrow. Id like to get it done before next weekend.

 

Do your JBA's have the additional caster built into the UCA or they adjustable like the Light Racing ones? Maybe a good alignment would help? Tandem can take care of that for you too.

 

The uppers are fixed and my caster is at 2.8 right now. Im just gonna find a place to do the chop and be done with it.

 

I have a fatmat to put under the hood. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to just stick it on there as a single piece or if I'm supposed to cut out sections to leave ribs exposed. Anyone know?
