There was a bunch of packed snow/ice that we couldn't get through at Lytle Creek. Nothing at Cleghorn though...well nothing for as far as we were able to go before the nightmare began.

Here's all I took last night. Was more concerned with getting down the hill after the incident. The snow is at Lytle, the bunny is at Cleghorn. JD thought he ran it over.

I am writing my congressman right now to initiate a bill that would require people with balls like Manny and JD to install gears. For $500-600 he could call Chase at ECGS and have 4:56s and be back stronger than ever with a 5 year warranty! Screw healthcare. We need Mannycare!

I've sent him a pm - haven't heard back. I still say... time to re-gear and get 5 yr warranty on enjoying off roading - the way he rocks, he really needs them! :D

...and thanks - I find it fun. Not as pretty as many but fun none the less.

Having even touched my truck since I got home at 4:30am last night. I've been moving into my new place all day today so I haven't had a chance go do anything. I gotta wasH the truck, which may happen tomorrow, and then I'll try to take it in on Monday if all goes as planned. I have a feeling this is gonna be a hell of a fight with Toyota. I'm hoping they don't point out that my larger wheels cause extra stress on the tranny and diff. I'll keep you guys posted.

As for the new 4.56s, I'm not sure what the future of my truck is right now. The wifey and I were talking about trading my taco in for a new 4runner, and then buying an old yota as a dedicated trail rig.

I know this is sacrilegious but that may be the smartest thing any of us could do! This is getting to be a very expensive hobby that could be better served by a real trail rig - It is fun though!!!

We do however need an entertaining and informative write-up on the Cleg portion of this trip - I know the secret handshake, should I use it? :)
