Like a cow pissing on a flat rock...sideways.

Had to tie the dogs to the railing...and made two poodle-mix kites. The sad part was they got wetter just trying to pee.

There's a cell tower about 200 yards away that's whistling in the wind. Creepy.

All the creeks near me are expected to flood. Good news is that we're way up on top of the hill. Sad news is that all this water will flow down into areas that already starting to flood. Worried about everyone from Corpus to Beaumont.

Nope, but I am authorized telework. No driving - so it's all good.

Shit's fucked up and stuff. Water is about 1/4 inch from coming in my house. According to my neighbors this water level is 3 times higher than Allison was. We are holding it down as best as possible and trying to keep an eye out in case our neighbors need help. Dylan already had to run next door in waist deep water to stop our elderly neighbor from driving his car off into more water. I guess he woke up and saw water in his house and decided to try and get the car to high ground without realizing it was too late. Tired AF I hope everyone stays safe and dry when you can.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
    Yesterday was the long night.

My friends evacuated their house last night because of how high the creek was supposed to get. They couldn't get down my neighborhood because of flooding. They could drive through it with their SUV, but it was scary for them. So i directed them to a high place they could leave their vehicle. Then had to do shuttle rides back and forth so they could unload their stuff and pets.

Meanwhile. My buddy came over to watch sharknado. Nearly got stuck here. He lives about 10 minutes away. It took about 30 to find a section of road to drive through so I could get him home. Managed to get back taking the direct reverse route.

We got about 13" of rain in the last 12 hours.

Sorry bud. They've been reporting about how all our rain here is adding more to already flooding rivers in Bastrop and La Grange...and it's all headed your direction.

Fingers crossed the next 24 hours won't be as bad as the NWS is predicting.

Thanks. Water was only at the sidewalk. Didn't come into the yard.

Be safe. We're going to get the same amount of rain today. And now they're doing releases of the water from out west and at lake Conroe.

Finally. They should have started doing that on Thursday in advance of the impending flooding.

Was up till 5:30 watching the water rise. Last time it flooded it was 10 ft further up towards me, almost came in the garage and it's beginning again.

Kelly has it bad right now, water is now in her house. Say a  or send good vibes her way, because it's not letting up on her end.
