IF I ever replace my 06, it will be with a 4-Runner. BUT, that won't happen for years, if ever!

God I wished I lived in Kentucky

    2 bedroom house here
    1100 sq feet
    Land was 7100 sq feet
    Asking price was $1.1 M
    17 offers
    13 all cash
Ended up going 300,000$ over asking for $1.4M

That's crazy. You can get a 3k-4K square foot extremely nice house with a extremely nice huge shop, on 50+ acres(at least this much land) of extremely nice land for that price around here. And still have money left for a brand new Tacoma, and probably $300k to put in the bank.

Maybe. First 6 months were rocky with the trans shifting. Two TSBs later almost no issues. Been loving the truck ever since. I am a Ford guy and traded an '03 Ranger for my '16 Taco. Enjoy the slightly larger mid-sized Taco over the compact Ranger. I don't need a full size truck. The only other truck I would consider is the new Ranger. If Ford does it right, I'd have to flip a coin on which one to buy.

    Only regret, not getting JBL.

Only 18 but have a long ways away but I always fear if I have to sell my tacoma to buy a bigger truck, I plan on buying another tacoma when this one gasses out but I'd go Tundra then if needed a Dodge 2500-3500, but your wife or gf or whatever can always have a family car and you have the smaller vehicle, seen tons of families do it around here including mine!

I still like my 2015 TRD Sport. Only has 12,700 miles. But it is time for a change. Selling all my mods off. Will be trading it in. Soon as my 2018 TRD pro forerunner comes available.

Ups and down to both. I had 3 half ton Chevys before my Tacoma and a couple times the lack of bed space and capacity has bit me. But the Tacoma being cheaper to operate and own benefits me everyday (ignoring the fact I keep modding it). It is also endlessly easier to park and maneuver.

After living with a Tacoma for 6 months and 25k miles I would probably buy another if it was wrecked or stolen tomorrow.

5 Acres of land-$10,000. Used 14X 50 Singlewide $6000 + $1500 to have it moved and set, $2000 for a well and septic, $2500 for small prefab barn, $650 for carport, plus various additions to house, deck, outbuilding for my weightlifting gym built for cost of materials and inexpensive help from the neighbors, plus another 5 acres of land Deeded to me in an estate. I have about $32-35,000 in the whole thing.
O.K. $62,000 is slightly LESS then twice my total, but you get the idea...add in the taxes, prep, any add-ons, and I bet the Raptor would be $70K easy...

One thing about Kentucky, land is not cheap in the central part of the state. Especially in the Scott/Bourbon/Fayette/Woodford county areas. I'm amazed at what 5 acre tracts cost in Scott County.

I have a handful of Toyotas over the years. 74 fj, 85, 86 and 87 4 runners. 87 pickup xcab and 91 xcab. Good quality trucks. Never had issues. Drive them up to Alaska and back. The value and attention to detail is gone on these trucks. Toyota is like stihl chainsaws are now, putting out mediocre product based on a quality name. If I ever buy another Toyota it would be a 4runner. The Tacoma can't be used as a truck. It's a grocery go getter. You can't tow anything safely, lots if issues. Interior is cheap. Horrible gas mileage. The list goes on and on. You can get a nice half ton for what you pay for a Toyota. But hey, my wife likes it.

    I think the opposite

    Hate fords
    Don't care about them

    Love raptor
Would get raptor tattooed mike Tyson style on my face if I was the typical white trash demographic

    Absolutely not.

Ford minus the Raptor, are the best looking, most capable trucks on the road.

I think its the hideous fender flares.

My deal is trucks do not = true off road vehicles. SUVs like Wranglers and 4Runners are off road beasts. Trucks are for towing and hauling. So making a full-size truck off road like in terms of looks is ugly.
