I'm currently running 315/75/16 MTRs. The 7069's have a 4" BS in the 16" flavor, I have 1" spacers in the front but I used to have 255/85 KM2s on those wheels with no spacers and they fit just fine. What size tires are you planning on running?

    Just did 300,000 mile service

-cleaned engine bay (filthy from leaking valve covers and dusty roads)
-timing belt kit: water pump, idler pulleys, plugs, wires, drive belts, pcv valve, thermostat, fuel filter
    -all new vacuum hoses
-new coolant hoses: radiator, oil cooler, IAC, heater
    -coil pack boots
    -crank and cam seals
-valve cover and plug tube gaskets
-checked valves, amazingly all still within spec!
    -coolant bypass pipe
    -intake and plenum gaskets
-coolant flush, back flush radiator and engine block
    -oil change
-Redline Mt-90 in the transmission and t-case
    -Redline 75-90 in the diffs

Kicked my ass, took about 20 hours, but feels like a new truck.

When I get some time I plan to do a compression test

I'm currently running hancook 295/75-16s and stock wheels with 1.25 spacers. Why I really want new wheels is to get rid of the spacers.

Take apart you shifter and look at the shifter bushing and that whole assembly. There might be some debris in it.

It's unfortunate that all OEM wheels have such high backspacing, as they are far stronger than most aftermarket wheels (and you already paid for them). Replacing forged wheels with vacuum cast aluminum or stamped steel wheels is kinda silly when you think about it. I'm of the opinion that a quality wheel spacer, installed properly and checked regularly, is not a probable failure mode and adds no additional load to wheels bearings, etc. compared to a wheel with the same net backspacing.

My reason for wanting to ditch the spacers is they're a pain to take off, plus obviously looks.
