I just wanted to share a little write-up of what I did.

In order to make the grille look as close to factory as possible I wanted to drill out the center of the o's as well as the supports behind them.

I started by painting the letters with krylon (I couldn't find fusion but this stuff bonded just fine)
    IMG_5532.jpg

Then once those cured I drilled out the mounting holes and dry fit the o's to the grille. I cut the supports out behind the first o and then jb welded the support to both from behind to hold the "floating" piece in:

    IMG_5528.jpg
    IMG_5523.jpg
    IMG_5524.jpg

    Jb welded:
    IMG_5525.jpg

    And second cut:
    IMG_5527.jpg

Then mounted up the rest of the letters:

    IMG_5531.jpg

Upon closer inspection you could see the remains of my vertical support inside the first o through the front.
    IMG_5533.jpg

So I used an exacto and sandpaper to make it smooth

    IMG_5535.jpg

And here is the final product!

Am I the only one who also drilled out the "A"?

Didn't bother with the a-hole. It's not punched out on the legit Pro grille either.

Yeah it just doesn't look right with any enclosed negative space, it feels better with all 3 holes banged out.......... ........... .....

I prefer not having my a-hole banged out, but that's just me.

How is the emblem holding up? Any concerns? And post more pics of that awesome grille, your revision is making me seriously consider the replica grille. Please and thanks

    None as of yet
Received my grill and letters this weekend, can't wait to install. I ended up cutting out the backside of the O's and the A as others have done. Used a Dremel.
