Ok then I guess did find it on a quick google search, just didnt understand why someone would use it on a hood so figured I didnt find what you were talking about. Why would you use sound deadening material on your hood? It seems pointless to me as any sound is most likely coming through the firewall. Do you just want a heavier hood?

It's supposed to lower it a bit. It's not really a big benefit though, I guess. It's supposed to keep the hood colder as well, but that's meh, coz it's not like we have a crazy engine in there.

Edit: Probably going to sell it. Past return period already from Amazon. Stupid buy.

Sometimes you never know until you try something for yourself. If you decide not to install it on the hood, have you already done you cab? I'll eventually do my entire cab but other mods get priority for now. Figure I'll wait until i'm ready to do an audio upgrade before I worry about doing sound material.

I have an idea for the IFS skids now... should be pretty cool.

Yea, I just don't want to risk it. I have come down hard on my skids before and they didn't dent or anything, just scratch the paint. So would rather take the weight of steel and risk something happening to aluminum.

Ha, I did the same thing to my RTIC as well.

This one is really thick. Meant for hood only.

I already upgraded speakers to JBLs, and put in some deadener to make the door panels heavier. The doors close with a very good thunk now. I get a little bit of vibration of plastic panels sometimes, but that would get resolved whenever I put in amp and sub, and filter the bass out of the door speakers.

Any update on your skid delivery? Guessing you probably wont have them by ATR.

The sides of my cooler have a little room left and the back is mostly empty. I figure i'll get some more free ones at ATR to help finish it off. Then I'll start on my next cooler, either buy a small RTIC(20qt for in the cab) or do my Cabelas 45qt that I dont use very often since getting the 65 RTIC.

yeah I think I have 3-4 more things to do before I'm ready to spend money on audio/sound items. I would love a better stereo but I havent had a nice stereo for a while so I forget how bad the stock setups are. The only issue I have right now is the lack of base and its not loud enough cruising at 40+ with the windows down.

If you are going to buy a small cooler get a soft sided one, they are a good compliment to a big rigid one.

Check out maluna. I have a 70qt and I love it. It doesnt suction closed and has molded handles. It's also suppose to beat yeti in ice holding but I don't know.

I'm fully covered on coolers. And the suction effect is part of what keeps the temp cool.

    x2 on this statement...

Come to one Jambo and you will be wanting to do more stuff to your truck than you can think of...

It is a constant process of the next thing to do for me to be able to push my truck to do more on the trails.

I'd have to sell my legs to afford anything for awhile. Then there's the additional cost of adding a hand throttle...

I've thought about going with a soft one but keep going towards the RTIC 20, Its small enough it will fit in a lot of places. A soft side would be better if its empty for space. I could store behind the back seat so its always ready to be used.

They look nice but only sell sizes I already have a good cooler for. I dont need the best when it comes to that style cooler, just the best price I can find.

The lca's look great. I've got just about everything done that I wanted to for ATR.

I thought CC's were free money. Throw it away when it stops working. Eventually they leave you alone and you dont have to pay if you never talk to them. o_O:rofl:
