For those asking about the spark plugs. They are iridium. New plug wires.

The car before changing them had a "miss" at different times usually in 2nd or 3rd gear, but also in 5th gear if I'd push it to the floor you would hear/feel it "skip". Really figured just spark plugs.

So we changed out the plugs, drove the car down the road and it started missing bad. Check engine light began flashing. Pulled over cut the car off and fired it back up to get it back to allens. When we got there one of the wires had come off one of the plugs, making the car think it had 3cyl. So we got new wires and installed those and it just kept acting like it was missing, with the check engine light on. We figured maybe the computer needed reset to make it realize we had fixed it. So I disconnected the battery and left it over night at allens. Went back today and the check engine light was indeed gone, but it still missed. I checked ever wire again and reseated them and it idled fine so I drove it to the auto parts store. They were no help. So I just fiddled with it and it was idling good so I was like shit I'm driving it home. 100 ft down there road missing so bad it shook the car so pulled over and called it quits. Had AAA tow it to my mechanic because I have no other ideas. All we did was change plugs and wires

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.

Im probably wrong here but u might have a bad coil. But there are multiple things it could be. I hate u had to take it to a mechanic tho man. Especially when i might have been able to figure it out in a couple hours for free. Hope its nothing bad bud

my mechanic does me good on price. it might be the coil pack, but nobody had it in stock. I know if it's just spark plug/coilpack whatever related he won't charge me hardly anything in labor. AAA was free so that's always nice.

It sure does seem like a coil pack or a crankshaft/camshaft sensor issue. Hopefully its not any worse than thay

I hope not as well. I'm fine with it being at my mechanic though, he's going to give a full once over like I wish I could've had him do before I bought it.
