No I haven't. Can't say I'm at all familiar with those, or any other, 'off' brands. What's the quality like compared to Leer, ARE, etc.?

Century and Raider are the exact same shells, made in the same factory, from the same molds as Leer. So same quality as Leer. I have a raider, and if I took the emblem off, you wouldn't be able to tell it isn't a leer.

I'm seeing that now while looking at all three websites respectively. Thank you for the knowledge. Now that I think about it I believe the top I had on my old Nissan Hardbody was a Century. Looked identical to the Leer XR100.

Have you noticed any price variances between them? Or are they all around the same? Looks like the Leer and Century dealers are both about the same distance from me. Raider seems to be the furthest.

Too bad ARE is closest being local. I'm still somewhat partial to the Leer styling.

That's actually the reason I went with Raider. Found the equivalent of the 100xr for almost $500 cheaper by driving ~80 miles to that dealer instead of going with the closer leer dealer.

Also, if you look at the 100xr equivalent on each of the 3 sites, I noticed that the marketing photos have the same truck, same background, etc. They've just photoshopped different logos onto the photos. Funny

Another +1 for Raider here, too. I saved close to $500 by going with the Raider over the Leer

I had a Leer on my last Tacoma and the fit/finish is damn near identical between the two, I think you'd have a hard time picking out any differences. Happy I went with the Raider and saved a few bucks

There are no differences to pick out. Same shells, from the same factory

    list is growing fast
I like the look of this shell on the silver DCLB. Did you upgrade your suspension at all? Do you have a pic from the side not angled? Getting the proportions right seems crucial to making them look good.

Wish it was possible to add the "skeleton" to an existing CX but ARE told me it isn't :(

You could probably make it happen. Just build a rail support system. I've seen others do this.

Curious what exactly the name of the steel bars are, if I call Swift Steel, will they know what I am asking for? I travel to Oregon for work so seems easy enough to pick up.

dman, I don't remember sorry, but think it was 0.125. I'm away from home until end of sept, but can check when back.

Man guys I got a quote today for a Snug top Rebel.

    2432.58 includes tax and install.

2099.00 for Rebel with front slide and upgraded center lock on back window. 119.95 for Thule/Yak rails, 160.00 for rails and topp install, 153.63 tax and 100.00 discount.

Seems high but you tell me? Should I jump on it or keep shopping?

I got quoted 2700 for all that plus the sportsman's package for the rebel. Ask them about the cab hi. Sportsman's package is free right now. It just doesn't have power locks.

Edit: is that with or without roof racks? My dealer had the rebel at 1899 base price

Sportsmans package is fishing rod holder and reinforcement to the shell. Allows 500 pounds up top and reinforces the frame. And an interior light.

Oh I knew about the reinforcement for sport, did not know about fishing pole holder.

The guy told me the standard has 300lb rolling weigh limit, so static that would be higher. My RTT does not weigh 300, 100 maybe. So I think I will skip the Sportsman. I really wanted at least one flip windo but the one my dealer has is slide both sides.

I told my wide they were 1800 so, now she is seeing 600.00 more and not happy with me..
